For three days, downtown Scarsdale transforms into a vibrant, pedestrian-friendly shopping destination. Businesses line Boniface Circle, offering a lively atmosphere filled with shopping, discovery, and community connection.

Participation & Eligibility

In addition to our Village Center brick-and-mortar businesses, all current SBA members are invited to participate in the Sidewalk Sale. Designated vendor spaces will be located along Boniface Circle, which will close to vehicular traffic during event hours.

Participation is first-come, first-served, and space is limited – so we strongly encourage you to register early. Please note home-based businesses and businesses located outside of 10583 will be entered into a lottery and will be at the discretion of the Executive Director due to space

Requirements & Forms

All participating Sidewalk Sale vendors who do not already have a valid 2026 SBA Destination Scarsdale Permit or a Village of Scarsdale Outdoor Display and Sale of Wares Permit must complete the following:

• Sign and notarize the Village of Scarsdale indemnification (Hold Harmless) agreement.

• Provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) listing the following as additional insured:

Setup Requirements

  • The SBA does not provide tents or tables
  • Participants must bring their own setup and materials
  • All tents must be securely weighted with a minimum of 40 lbs (required for safety compliance)
  • Tents and tables may remain overnight at your own risk and should be lowered to 1–2 feet

Parking Information

  • 8-hour pay-as-you-go Pango parking is available daily in the Christie Place Commuter Garage (64 East Parkway)
  • Free parking is available on weekends in this garage
  • Please do NOT park in:

    • The 4-hour Christie Place garage
    • Metered spots in the downtown center

Frequently Asked Questions

No, non-members are welcome to participate at a higher rate. However, SBA members receive priority placement as space is limited, along with discounted pricing and access to additional opportunities throughout the year.  

Vendor placement is first-come, first-served and managed by the SBA. While we do our best to accommodate preferences, specific locations cannot be guaranteed.

Home-based businesses and SBA members located outside of 10583 will be entered into a lottery due to limited space.

Please note that in order to participate, you must complete the following requirements:

Submit the 2026 SBA Hold Harmless Form along with a Certificate of Insurance listing both the Village of Scarsdale and the Scarsdale Business Alliance as additional insureds.

OR

If you are a brick and mortar located in the village of Scarsdale you are able to Obtain a 2026 Village of Scarsdale Sidewalk Usage Permit (free of charge) in place of the Hold Harmless form. You can apply here.

No. Participants must bring their own or rent through a vendor such as Partyline Rentals.

Use the Christie Place Commuter Garage (64 East Parkway) for 8-hour Pango parking. Parking is free on weekends. Please avoid 4-hour garages and metered spots downtown.

Vehicle access is only permitted during load-in (8:00–8:45 AM). After that, Boniface Circle is closed to traffic.

Vendor Checklist

Before participating in the Sidewalk Sale, please make sure you have completed the following:

✅ Confirm payment (Member: $225 | Non-Member: $395)

Permits & Insurance

✅ Submit Hold Harmless (notarized)

✅ OR provide valid 2025 SBA Destination Scarsdale Permit
✅ OR provide Village Sidewalk Usage Permit

Setup Preparation

✅ Bring your own tent, table, and display materials
✅ Ensure tent has minimum 40 lb weights
✅ Plan for overnight storage (optional, at your own risk)
✅ Start marketing the event on your social media and be sure to tag @Scarsdalebusiness

Logistics
