About Destination Scarsdale

Destination Scarsdale is a weekly community gathering that brings residents, families, and visitors together to experience the best of Scarsdale Village. Held alongside the Scarsdale Farmers Market, the program features interactive activations hosted by Scarsdale Business Alliance members, from wellness experiences and demonstrations to hands-on family activities.

Part farmers market, part community festival, and part local business showcase, Destination Scarsdale invites the community to explore local businesses and enjoy Sunday mornings downtown.

Destination Scarsdale offers SBA members a unique opportunity to connect directly with hundreds of residents each week through creative, interactive experiences. Typical weekly attendance ranges from 500–750 visitors, with families, shoppers, and community members exploring throughout the morning.

Participation Requirements

To maintain a consistent and professional experience, all activations should follow these guidelines:

  • Activations must be interactive and community-oriented
  • Booths should represent your business brand professionally
  • All materials must be family-friendly and appropriate for a public community event

Do I need insurance?

YES. To participate in Destination Scarsdale, insurance documentation is required in accordance with Village of Scarsdale guidelines.

Prior to your activation date, participants must provide the following:

Hold Harmless Agreement

All participants must complete, sign, and have notarized a Hold Harmless Agreement provided by the Scarsdale Business Alliance.

Certificate of Insurance (COI) Village of Scarsdale

Participants must provide a Certificate of Insurance listing the Village of Scarsdale as an Additional Insured.

Participants must also provide a Certificate of Insurance listing the Scarsdale Business Alliance as an Additional Insured.

All required documentation must be submitted 14 Business Days in advance of your participation date prior to participation in Destination Scarsdale.

Frequently Asked Questions

Destination Scarsdale typically welcomes 500–750 visitors each Sunday, with consistent flow throughout the morning as guests explore the farmers market and surrounding businesses.

Vendor setup: 8:45 – 9:15 AM
Activation hours: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM

Destination Scarsdale is a rain or shine event, unless the Village or Farmers Market determines that weather conditions require cancellation.

Participants will be notified in advance if weather conditions affect the event.

Participants are responsible for bringing:

  • A 6–8 ft table
    • A tent
    • Any signage or promotional materials

All tents must be properly weighed for safety.

The SBA offer the option to rent a table and tent for a $100 fee. **Insert links to rent tables and tents here**

Yes. The SBA offers limited equipment rentals for participating members.

Available rentals may include:

  • 10×10 tent
  • 6 ft table

Rental availability is limited and must be requested in advance.

No. Electricity is not available at activation booths. Please plan accordingly.

No. Sales are not permitted at Destination Scarsdale activation booths.

Due to the Village of Scarsdale’s agreement with Down to Earth Markets, which operates the Scarsdale Farmers Market, SBA activation participants may not sell products or services on site.

Businesses are encouraged to promote their services, distribute samples where appropriate, offer coupons, or provide promotional giveaways that encourage visitors to visit their storefront or book services.
