Scarsdale Police Department

The Scarsdale Police Department is a state and nationally accredited and proudly serving the community since 1909. The Department is led by Chief Steven DelBene, who was appointed in January 2025 after 19 years of dedicated service within the department.

The department is organized into four sections: Administrative, Patrol, Investigations, and Support. It is staffed by 71 employees, including 45 sworn police officers, six civilian personnel, and 20 part-time staff such as school crossing guards and parking enforcement officers.
